Little Cat Studios is a music production and recording studio as well as a musical instrument manufacturer. We specialize in recording audio and creating orchestral and other musical productions in the studio. We mainly produce African Marimbas for use in large ensembles and education as well as performance.
Our company is dedicated to serving the music community as best we can and we will continue to innovate and develop new concepts and ideas centered around musical advancement.
Our founder, Mark Pettitt, established Little Cat Studios in 2020. He had an incredible vision of bringing music into people’s lives through both the production and creation of original music in studio, and the manufacturing of musical instruments. As an accomplished pianist and musician, Mark persued a degree in Music Composition for Film, TV and Games from Berklee College of Music, Boston. Whilst on his journey, he took part in the education of children through music ensemble, specifically the marimbas. As both an individual musician, an ensemble member and as a teacher, Mark has achieved various awards and top achievements throughout his career.
Most notably, Mark began producing music after High School, and has gone on to have his music accumulate over 600 000 streams on Spotify and over 2 million views on YouTube. His song, ‘Something Inside’ was released as part of the major YouTube label, NoCopyrightSounds’ album in 2019. Mark continues to stretch his mind and his abilities, constantly improving and innovating in the complex industry of music.
