Recording
It’s time the world heard your voice!
Vocal recording at Little Cat Studios provides you with high quality audio stems. We like to record our vocals with our incredible Avantone CV-12 Tube Condenser Microphone (used to record Nick Jonas, Taylor Swift and many more!), specially imported from overseas.
The mic is highly versatile and is almost perfect for most vocal ranges and types and can be used for large ensembles and instruments alike! All our recording sessions involve the use of high-quality vocal equipment for recording, processing, and exporting. All sessions come standard with an engineer to help you through the recording process.
At the end of each session, a selection of the best takes and stems are exported and given to the client in high quality WAV files for future use.
Mixing
It’s time to mix that song you’ve always wanted to release!
Mixing at Little Cat Studios provides you with high quality work, utilizing our vast array of plugins and software to get your song sounding as great as possible. We will take all your audio tracks and mix them together according to the style and the client’s wishes.
We will allow four revisions to the mix before an additional charge per additional mix will take place. We will provide clients with high quality WAV file mixes, which include additional instrumental mixes if required. All mixing rates apply to tracks that are less than five minutes in length.
Mastering
It’s time to finish that song of yours with a master!
Mastering at Little Cat Studios provides you with a detailed master to help you finish your song and get it ready to release. We utilize our knowledge of the style and our various plugins to get the best master ready for you.
We also offer external mastering through a third party in the UK, who is considered an expert in this field. Clients will receive a high-quality WAV master of their track and an instrumental if applicable upon completion. Clients may request one round of revisions before a charge per revision thereafter.
Production/Song Writing
It’s time to take that great song idea of yours and make it a fully produced track ready to release to the public!
Production at Little Cat Studios provides you with the whole song making process, from song writing to recording and mixing. We use our vast knowledge of plugins, sound design and music theory to create unique and great sounds appropriate for your song. We will provide ideas and try to turn our client’s idea into a reality. Our production services include song writing, recording, and mixing.
Mastering is not included, and the client may wish to master their track upon completion. All clients will receive high quality WAV files of the track and the instrumental if applicable. If requested, we will also provide clients with all the individual stems for an additional charge.
Notation
It’s time to finally notate that great song of yours so others can also play it!
Notation at Little Cat Studios provides you with intricate and detailed sheet music for your song. We use our extensive knowledge of our notation programs and music theory to write out each individual part for your song. Thus, you can give the music to any ensemble across the world, and they’ll be able to play it! All notation services are limited to two revisions, thereafter a charge per revision will be ensued.
All notation services allow for up to 100 measures of music, thereafter there will be an additional charge for every 10 additional measures.
Orchestration (Audio)
It’s time to turn that score of yours into music!
Little Cat Studios can help you take your notated score and turn it into a full orchestra in your ears! We utilize our various samplers and plugins to recreate instruments from your notations so that you can hear what your score would actually sound like. We try to get every instrument to sound as accurate as possible so that you can truly hear what your score would sound like if played by a full orchestra.
We will also mix all the tracks together to provide you with a final mix of the score which would be ready for mastering if you wished to release your score as well! Please note, we will only orchestrate that which is on the notation provided to us.
Film and Game Scoring
It’s time to give your game/film the music it deserves!
Little Cat Studios can assist in writing original scores for both games and feature films. We use our skills in music composition, mixing and our extensive knowledge of the various programs and plugins we use to create music ready for commercial use in games or film.
